Engaged Volunteer & ASAF Leader

Alexandre has been an active member of ASAF since 2019, demonstrating a strong commitment to volunteerism and regional cooperation. In 2022, he was elected to the Board of Directors as Vice President for Cooperation and Regional Integration. At the end of his first term, he was re-elected to the Board, now responsible for Internal Affairs, continuing his dedication to strengthening ASAF’s mission and impact.

He has contributed to the implementation of over 50 projects on behalf of the association across multiple African countries, engaging a wide range of stakeholders—from educational actors to European diplomats.

Founder and co-initiator of the Youth Alliance for Agroecology and Climate (YAAC), Alexandre serves as the network's lifetime president, overseeing all its initiatives. His leadership focuses on empowering youth, women, and disadvantaged communities through training in agroecology, agribusiness, and environmental protection.

Les plantes africaines, et si on en parlait ?

A lover of the environment, plants and their virtues, this project aims to raise awareness of the virtues and uses of African plants, especially in traditional medicine.

Through this initiative, Alexandre aims to enable young Africans to reconnect with their culture, to learn about plants and their uses, and to act as guarantors to ensure their protection and safeguard ancestral knowledge.
